Hailing from Denmark, this trio of energetic and intense musical anarchists has become one of the most popular jazz acts in Europe. Mind you, that’s “jazz” in the sense that they can wallow in a very convincing soul-jazz groove for a while, then suddenly channel Afrobeat, en route to a psychedelic freakout with all three musicians playing in unison. The extremely talented – and individually award-winning – members of Ibrahim Electric are Niclas Knudsen guitar, Jeppe Tuxen B-3 organ, and Stefan Pasborg drums.
