For nearly a decade, Opensouls has been refining a sound that references the best in classic soul, everything from vintage Motown to Smokey Robinson (with a few nods to Van Morrison and Lennon/McCartney). With their latest CD, 2009's Standing In The Rain, this nine-person juggernaut truly knows how to bring it when performing in front of an audience. Energetic, tight, and fiercely committed to the sweet kick of soul, these rhythm masters are certified crowd pleasers.
