Today and After

The story so far... Today and After began in June of 2002 by two friends, Dan Harden and Luke Franklin. Finding they had similar musical interests they then spent all of their free time writing and recording together. Three months later Luke decided he was going to travel and broaden his international horizons - the band was put on hiatus. Luke spent 2 months in Scotland before he called Dan with the offer of traveling and taking their music to the world. With Dan's seasonal job just about finished for the year, it wasn't a tough decision - two weeks later he was in Scotland. Things were looking really good for the band as they were gigging their new set and building a steady fan base (not to mention being mobbed by hot women). Around this time "Today and After" received an offer to have an album produced by Likely Story in New Zealand. It was a great opportunity for the band. After 3 intensive months of pre-production and recording in New Zealand, Today and After headed back home to Canada to build the live band. Shawn Hagen (guitar) and Dean Evanger (bass) were added in early summer 2003, and a few months of patience finally paid off when the group found drummer... more...
