Brianne de Verteuil & Her Savvy 6 will be providing you with an enchanted evening of swingin' tunes from a selection of hot 30's and 40's styled chamber jazz. You'll hear music by the John Kirby Sextet, early Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw and others; plus some of original tunes arranged in a similar style. The tunes were catchy, the rhythms were danceable and the improvised solos were neatly packaged in a kit-of-fun. The Savvy 6 strives to reintroduce that fun and excitement to 21st century audiences.
