Myles Black and the Pearly Whites

We are an eight piece folk/rock band from Gabriola Island, Nanaimo and Victoria looking for gigs in BC. "Folk music" takes on many different connotations but as it applies to us, it's all about the content that deals with the geographical or the modern frame of mind. Our music is relatively simple and this is a deliberate choice. With our debut album, we're hoping to strengthen the spirit of music making and cultivate the idea of "the artist" without preordained notions of a certain class of people. The whole set of teeth are a mix of classically trained musicians, garage band freaks and sound makers.
