Mexico Cabron roars from the North of the Mexican Republic, specifically from the State of Sonora, the cradle of the Mexican Revolution!
Hector Celaya (guitars and growls) and Rafael Valencia (drums) form the band after playing for 15 years in various bands, both separately and together. In the summer of 2008 they reunite to do what they mostly enjoy: Metal!
The name of the band MEXICO CABRON (where a Cabron, among many meanings, is a reckless powerful clever guys in Mexican slang) is chosen looking for something that reflects and conveys the band’s concept: beyond political divisions and conscious of their Mexican cultura Hector and Rafael state that “We are all Mexico, We are all Cabrones!”
The musical concept is Heavy Metal, well defined towards distorted guitars, aggressive vocals and agile and fast metal beats in the drums. The lyrics are focused around one idea: to identify the roots and the strengths of the Mexican, while at the same time giving it a positive tone.
