Spinnerette

Spinnerette centerpiece Brody Dalle has come a long way since her days as the Distillers’ gravel-voiced singer/guitarist, a frontwoman with the balls – and chops – to stare down any man on the strip who thought leather pants and rock music was just for the boys. Spinnerette was formed in 2007 by two former band members of The Distillers and Alain Johannes from Queens of the Stone Age to release their first album in June 2009 and already has an upcoming world tour. With Brody Dalle as the only constant member of Spinnerette, she cites her main influences as Black Flag, My Bloody Valentie, and Roky Erickson.
