Delirium

Reminiscent of Ornette Coleman’s original quartet, the Finnish/Danish quartet known as Delirium expresses a bold and joyful commitment to creating improvisation-based music that mixes harmolodics with a strong European flair. Delirium started a decade ago in Copenhagen, when free-blowing saxophone player Mikko Innanen first met up with cornetist Kasper Tranberg, bassist Jonas Westergaard and drummer Stefan Pasborg. They have been making amazing music ever since and are highly recommended to jazz fans with adventurous ears.
