Reg Wood Band

In 1950, Mike Pretty joined Reg Wood's band which was the house band at the Club Sirocco. Club Sirocco featured imported floor shows and local female dancers. Wood's band included members Ian McDougal, Don Clark, Ray Petch, Doug Peaker and Mike. Other personnel in this band, at one time or another, included Vic Keating, Vern Bryant, Jim McKay, Clare Anderson, and George McDowell to name just a few. With Mike on drums, Wood's band was the Sirocco's house band from 1950-1954.David Pretty
