About

The LA-Z Boys

circa 1998 - circa 2003
Billed as "the least ambitious band ever", the La-Z-Boys were essentially a drinking club for a small group of friends that had known each other since the early 1980's. The members would get together once a week and drink with guitars in their laps, but eventually built up a strong catalogue of several dozen acoustic versions of punk and new wave covers, ranging from Television to The Clash, to Echo & The Bunnymen, Squeeze and Big Star.
