The Stars Here

The Stars Here are an honest-to-God rock 'n' roll band. They were formed by childhood friends Patrick Finch (vox, guitar), Chris Gardner(guitar, vox), and Graeme Pautler (bass, engineer). After several minor line-up changes, the band gained Mark Imola (drums, corporate wizardry), and Paddy Townsend (keyboards, vox). By combining their art-stoner-pop-soul-rock influences, they have developed a sound which truly defies parameters. This sound is evident on the "Shine Right Through Me EP", which was released through Doormat Records in June of 2003. This debut release gained them a charting single on campus radio throughout Canada, ("Meet Me In The Bathroom"), and afforded them their first East Coast tour. They are currently recording their follow-up release, and have contributed a new single, "Teenage Records", to the Doormat Records "Wipe Yer Feet" compilation, which is slated for release in December of 2003.
