Graham/Maxwell/Smith Trio

Powerhouse drummer Damian Graham (he’s played for boogie-woogie titan Michael Kaeshammer) has joined forces with pianist/vocalist Brooke Maxwell and the results are impressively hard-swinging indeed. Maxwell, with his lively stage presence and supple voice akin to Harry Connick Jr., plays jazz standards as much as new pop classics. Anchoring the trio will be Joey Smith on bass. Whether driving the Marc Atkinson Trio or simply providing the backbone to almost every notable jazz ensemble in Victoria, Joey is a consummate musician you must hear to believe.
