Michel Donato Trio (f. Marin Nasturica and Jon Gearey)

Esteemed bassist Michel Donato began his illustrious music career way back in the 1960s, when he began playing for the likes of Art Blakey. Later came stints with the trios of Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans. Donato’s creativity remains undimmed and he is currently touring with an unusual and exciting trio. Marin Nasturica, a Romanian accordion virtuoso, is a music veteran who plays in a dazzling variety of styles including classical, gypsy, folk and jazz.
