The Sybaritic String Band

The Sybs perform at dances and festivals across the Pacific Northwest including a monthly "First Saturday" contra dance series with the Vancouver Rogue Folk Club. Their high energy music includes traditional, contemporary and original fiddle tunes with styles ranging from Celtic to Quebecoise to Klezmer. The ensemble features Barry Cole (mandolin, banjo, guitar), Leith Davis (piano, double bass), Claire McCague (recorder, saxophones) and Rich Sobel (fiddle, mandolin, djembe, percussive feet).
